At Air Hogs, we believe that the customer / student should be in an environment that promotes confidence and relaxation. Diving is all about having fun, meeting new and fun people and exploring new things. To achieve this, one must be initially trained by the best and under the best circumstances. We like to get back to the basics and say that the customer should decide when they want to dive. We will not have a training schedule that is set in stone like some others. We will work with you and your personal schedules. The overachieving businessman has different needs and availability compared to the Mom who wants nothing more than to get away from it all for a while. With that in mind, we want your time to be treated as valuable as it truly is. Perhaps you have soccer or baseball games to take the kids to on a Saturday morning… we get that. Maybe you would rather train with us at night instead of the morning… we get that too. Basically, if you have scheduling constraints, we will do our best to work it out with you. Everyone is different and no one should have to bend themselves into a schedule that doesn’t fit their life.

Good News!!

We are now offering an open discover scuba diving (DSD) course at the Smithfield Aquatics Center. There will be no fees other than a reduced entrance fee to the facility for those who are not already members. If you have ever dreamed about what it is like to sea the ocean floor at over 100 ft down, then you had better do it now. Your life will not change itself. Call or stop by for details on the open DSD.

Handicapped SCUBA Opportunities!

Thomas is an in-house instructor for the Handicapped Scuba Association (HSA) and Josh is our in-house dive buddy. We can work with individuals seeking rehabilitation needs or an adventure outside of the norm. We work to support both the Wounded Warrior Program and Dive Heart. If you or anyone you know would like to find out if we can help you out, just give us a call. HSA allows many individuals to experience the underwater world who may have never believed such an adventure would be possible!

Emergency First Response Training

We offer a wide array of emergency first response training. We can help to teach individuals, groups, and even large companies. If you are interested, we can provide classes that invlove child care and rescue, adult care and rescue, defibrilator use, oxygen support, rescue diving, and even instructor-level courses. Thomas is our in-house Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer and he can tailor courses to your individual or business needs. Give us a call if you have any interest!

If you have any service needs give us a call. Al and Robbie Broughton are both certified maintenance technicians for multiple companies and have years of experience working with mechanical equipment. Our policy is to find a way to SAFELY keep you diving and having fun at a reasonable price. We also completely service and inspect cylinders of all types. Thomas is our in-house PSI/PCI visual inspector, and 02 cleaning technician on staff.
